Anne Hathaway as Catwoman: Your first look
Remember yesterday when you got a first look at Henry Cavill as Superman from Man of Steel. Well, shoot, now you can look at Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. Not bad for some random week in August, eh?
Anyway, looks like she's swiped or is borrowing Batman's bat-pod, so there definitely could be some Catwoman cat-capers happening in this thing. Sweet! And yes, she's looking pretty good indeed.
Also, I'd like to give myself a gold star/internet high five for not using a "Meeeeoow!" or "Purrrrrrr!" or even a LOLCat anywhere in this post. Although...

But wait! There's more... And it's potentially spoilery, so, I don't know, don't look down?
There are also a couple of on-set pics of Catwoman as well. These don't appear to be of Hathaway, but are probs her stuntdouble. Still, you get a better look at the cat costume, the bat pod, slinkiness, it's all right there. Also, if you were paying attention to those video clips from a few days ago where Batman and Bane were squaring off, you might recognize the cops, random confetti (or whatever) and courthouse steps-iness of the same set/scene. Looks like Catwoman is going to get mixed up in all that, too!

I totally agree with those of you that think this is bad casting.. There is no way Anne Hathaway will fit this role. Halle Berry didn't. No one so far will be as good as Michelle P.

I think she looks downright pathetic. Is she pretty? Yup. Fit? Indeed. Catwoman? Hell no. There is nothing cat-like about this gettup at all. Bad casting and bad costume! How can they go from the exquisite Michelle Pfeiffer to this?

I think this is extremely poor casting! Yes, she is fit, but she's not Cat Woman nor is she attractive at all!!
Anne Hathaway's face is horsey (long face, big nose) and she only looks reasonably attractive with a ton of make-up on (she is NOT a natural beauty and in any pics or outings her make-up is layered on)

Wait a second? We're you the same people who laughed when Heath Ledger was announced as The Joker? How about we see the movie before writing Hathaway off as Catwoman? Christopher Noal has this ability to get the best pf his actors in the roles they were cast for. Just an idea...

I only have one thing to say... everyone said that when they cast Michael Keeton as Batman and he ended up being the best Batman of them all.. When the movie comes out the cat just may have your tongue.

Just to point out Erin.. Angelina is apparently a hundred years too old to play the part? She's 36. Michelle Pfeiffer was 34 when she played Catwoman and dominated that role. Anne herself is almost 29 which is pretty close to the thirties.. and by your standards means she is reaching ancient territory for a woman. Ridiculous. I do not care the age of an actress or actor; I just care if they can act/perform and do it well.
